The LiUNA Public Service Employees Local Union 1290PE website and social media platforms have been developed to best serve our members, member families, prospective members, and affiliates. Our goal is to offer information, education, and open communication using diverse platforms. Our web and social presence includes, but is not limited to, our main website located at www.liunaloca1290pe.com, an interactive blog on this site, and a presence on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube. More platforms may be added as appropriate and while the platforms may change, the policy remains applicable to those changes.

By accessing, viewing, participating or posting on any LiUNA Public Service Employees Local Union 1290PE website or social media site, you agree to the terms of this policy. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not post any content to any LiUNA Public Service Employees Local Union 1290PE site or platform. By your use, you agree that you shall defend, indemnify and hold harmless LiUNA Public Service Employees Local Union 1290PE and its affiliates and their respective officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, successors, and assignees from and against any liability, and shall promptly reimburse them for any losses, claims, damages, settlements, costs, and liabilities of any nature whatsoever (including reasonable attorneys' fees) to which any of them may become subject arising out of, based upon, as a result of, or in any way connected with, your posting of any content to a social media site, any third party claims of infringement or any breach of this policy.  By your use, you agree that any claim or dispute related to your posting of any content on a social media site on the internet shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Kansas and you agree to be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the local, state or federal courts located in Wyandotte County, Kansas, at the discretion of LiUNA Public Service Employees Local Union 1290PE. 

This policy may be updated at any time without notice and each time a user accesses a LiUNA Public Service Employees Local Union 1290PE website or social media site, the new policy will govern usage effective upon posting. To remain in compliance, we suggest that you review the policy at regular intervals.
